Our philosophy

Four things we have decided about how this clinic runs. They are the reason we stay small.

  1. Every patient is a very important patient

We do not have a tiered system, and there is no version of our attention that you have to pay extra for.

  2. No fixed protocols

Every treatment is built for the patient in front of us. That takes longer, and it is the main reason we cap how many cycles we do.

  3. We do the work ourselves

From the consultation to the sonography to the egg pickup and the embryo transfer, it is done by my husband Dr. Aniruddha or by me, supported by our nursing staff and by our embryologist. We have no assistant doctors, after more than thirty years of doing this.

  4. An informed patient is a better patient

We would rather you read everything, asked hard questions and disagreed with us than accepted what we said because we said it. That is why we wrote How to Have a Baby in 1994, why there is a comic book version for people who find the medicine hard going, and why every article on this site is free.

None of this makes us the right clinic for everyone. It does mean you will always know who treated you, and why they chose to.
